Welcome to Nicolas James Monck

I made this cute little card for my sister Anna's first baby Nicolas James born on 16th March. He weighed 3.695kgs. He is a beautiful little angel and I am so happy for my sister and her husband Brad. This card is a CASE, you have probably seen it before. I can't believe how easy it was to make. I added alittle chunky sprinkles glitter to the sleeves. Anna loved this card. Congratulations guys and enjoy your little precious miracle.

Happy 10th Birthday Tahlia

My niece Tahlia turned 10 on the 5Th February and I made this special scallop card for her. Tahlia loves craft so she appreciated the card I made for her. I used the stampset All Scallops (pg 17 of the current summer mini catalogue) it retails at $55.95 and is a set of 4. I punched out the smaller scalloped image using the scalloped edge punch (also pg 17 summer mini) it retails at $30.95. The scalloped edges are more popular than ever and will help you create projects with a unified look.

cardstock: Whisper white, purely pomegranite, blue bayou and pretty in pink.
Stampsets: All scallops, Tidy numbers (retired), True Friend (retired spring mini 2008).
Inks: Black, purely pomegranite and blue bayou

Emily's birthday card

A little card I made for Liam's school friend Emily. This is a simple and quick card to make. Cardstock river rock, strip of blue bayou and wild wasabi grass fringing stapled in place. Stamp not SU, however ink is pumpkin pie. No. 7 stamped using tidy numbers (retired). Happy birthday is a rub-on and so easy to apply. Designer label punch used on wild wasabi and 1"circle punch on blue bayou to make 7 label feature. Small strip of hemp twine finishes off this card.

Nothing To Show

Hi everyone, yes I'm still here and haven't disappeared off the face of the earth. School holidays have been keeping me very busy with three little ones at home. Spending too much money, and not on Stampin Up sadly. I still wonder how kids can be bored when they have so many toys/DS/Playstations etc. Anyway I have managed to do alittle bit of craft with my son Liam and one of his friends Jade. They wanted to make some cards so that was a great way to entertain them and I enjoyed the time also. I have also done a scrapbook layout which was a challenge for our ladies monthly craft group, sadly I didn't win, that was Wendy congrats your cards/ideas were excellant. Our craft night was Friday just gone and as usual an enjoyable evening. I had a go at watercolouring for the first time. I got my supplies for Christmas and hadn't yet had time to play. It was fun and very relaxing. I will try and post some pictures very soon of my recent projects. Until then takecare everyone.
